Thomas, aka Mr. T

Let me tell you about Thomas.

He is 5 years old and came from Madera, CA to the San Francisco SPCA as a stray.

He's a rather handsome little guy, with that smooshed up Himalayan face. He's sensitive to Advantage Plus, so he has to wear the sweater to keep him from scratching at the lesion.

He licked a hole right through it!

He only has his bottom canines, the top ones had to be removed because they were broken.

He has both of his kidneys. The right one is much larger than his left one. It's called hypertrophy. It's about 5 cm whereas the left one is about 2 cm. The right one seems to be taking the load really well and there seems to be no problem other than the size.

He was also in the ringworm ward, but luckily not for long!

He's a very vocal little man, and came straight to me when we visited him in the shelter. He ignored and hid away from the lady before. I couldn't say no. It was love at first purr.

He's a big mamma's boy and knows what he wants. He meows when he's hungry or cold and if he wants what you're eating he'll be right in your face. In the cutest way imaginable though.

I did threaten to take him back in the first week due to some urination in the wrong places, like my bed and pillow! Non-stop vocalization and hissing at Harley. The threat seemed to have worked and he's as good as you can ask for now.

He sleeps at my feet while Harley sleeps on my head. Happiness is a sleepy kitty in your lap or a soft kitty on your head.

Harley Boo

I'm very happy to have my camera back, and it was high time that my most favourite boy had his photo taken again...

Drink and shoot

Shoot responsibly..
... but drink with abandon!

Mik had the brilliant idea of creating the 'Friday Night Drinking & Shooting Club'. The first adventure was in the Mission in San Francisco. A great group of people came together and had a whole lot of fun.

Since my camera is in for repairs again, the lovely Amber graciously lent me an old camera of hers. The picture above was taken with that camera quite by accident, and the Magic Donkey algorithm put it on the Front Page. Who would have thought?

Looking forward to the next walking/drinking/shooting adventure in April, with hopefully a repaired camera.
